I met Rachel when she was fifteen and dancing in Cats...she went on from dancing to acting and became a TV star in Australia, married a fellow actor and had two beautiful children...this was for my Rosebud project. She's holding a nipple tassel given to her by the great Australian actor Bille Brown, who got it from Sir Ian Mackellen who got it from Jude Law....I think....

Johnny Carter has been teaching kids to swim at Sydney's Palm Beach for fifty eight years now....the plaque at the beach says fifty but its dated 2001 so the math is pretty easy. Two years ago I shot him in action (see my earlier post) and last week in Sydney I went back to see him again...its just a wonderful sight. His energy is amazing and he's still calling all the boys jimmy and all the girls maggie.

I shot these on the set of a music video about a month ago for Aussie singer Cassie Davis....this is the australian single cover. She had some serious guests there..rapper Travis McCoy from the Gym School Heroes, Printz Board from the Black Eyed Peas and drummer Phillip 'Fish' Fishbone from Fishbone. Its always fun shooting on a film set, they have such cool toys......sometime soon I'll get around to doing something about the green screen!
