Top morning - no waves. Send Huey a message - waves on the 10th please.
Welcome to allegedly the new and somewhat unnecessary gossip column
of Curly Longboarders. The Macquarie Dictionary defines Allege as a mere assertion made without proof. The Curly version is more like a sledge at any opportunity. So here goes.
If anyone takes offence, see the title above not your lawyer.
The biggest drama of the last month has to be Simon Cox for swallowing a
live bluebottle. Fortunately, he is now fully recovered. Watch out for the
Coxy versus Bear Grills eat-off challenge on SBS soon.
Which club member is putting in dawn to dark working days to finish his
house or his wife will have him singing falsetto sailing around Indo?
Nice to see the Charlie Sheen of Curly Longboarders, Mister Lex Evans
Esquire finally cohabitating with the lovely Kat. Who knows what¹s next,
little Lexes and Alexises?
Also worth noting the club is attracting some new members from other
rival clubs. Is it the gourmet food, the scintillating company, or the uncrowded
waves, or perhaps all three?
Which Curly WAG is making Pole Dancing videosŠand more to the point why
aren't they posted on the website?
Congratulations to Bobby 'I'm twice the man I used to be' Langbridge on
his 6 months off the lung lollies.
Finally, the club is looking for an Anger Management Consultant with a
style somewhere between Chopper Read and Ivan Milat. Seems not one, but
two of the members have taken to hurling abuse at the fairer sex whilst surfing.
One, using the feeble excuse of nearly being decapitated by a loose board, even managed a written complaint in the letters of the Manly Daily. The other took umbrage at being dropped in on in during Sunday's contest but I'm sure she wouldn't have understood his theck seth ifricin iksent.
Comp is on this SUNDAY.
If you have yet to pay this years subs please be sure to bring cheque or cash.
And your 8 footer, if conditions are good we're on.
